Am I a Man or am I a Muppet?

Full disclosure: I bought this on a whim, finding at my local Target at a clearance price. I am a lifelong Muppet fan, and I thought that even if my son didn’t like it, I couldn’t just leave Kermit on the shelf. If he didn’t like it, at least I didn’t spend much on it, and worse come to worse, it could be a great desk decoration at work.

It almost immediately became my son’s favorite Tonie, and has sparked a fascination with The Muppets. We watch the movies as a family, he’s rediscovered the modern Muppet Babies reboot that he hadn’t watched since he was two, we are thoroughly invested in the current “Muppets Noir” comicbook, and he listens to this one more than any other in his collection.

I consider it a big win for this Muppet fan.

Pretty good Tonie!

A pretty good Tonie based off of the 2011 Muppets movie! The 5 songs are directly taken out of the film and are all great, Life’s a Happy Song and Man Or Muppet are easily some of the best songs in the franchise’s history and . I do wish there was an extra song as whilst I feel you do need the Muppet Show theme, it’s one of the shortest songs on the soundtrack (I would have either picked Me Party or Let’s Talk About Me as a bonus). The audiobook featured is a good listen too. And somehow, it does a better job of ending the story and giving a resolution than the “hardly an ending that’s only really explained in the post credits and would be better explained if they didn’t cut most of Let’s Talk About Me” ending of the actual movie. And the figure too is great to have on a shelf. Easy recommendation for any Muppet fan!
